Fabrication is one of ICE Petroleum’s key area of competency. Our in-house workshop capabilities offer fabricated structural steelwork, piping, pipe spooling, tankage, heat exchangers, skid and mechanical equipment in all materials. Our facilities are strategically located in Kuantan and Pengerang which provides direct access to the international supply chain network via world class highway and waterway infrastructure that are located nearby. Leveraging on our long-standing partnerships with the local supply chain ecosystem, we are able to comply with exacting technical specifications and demanding delivery timelines while saving costs. We provide a wide range of fabrication capabilities and speciality processes from machining, welding, pre-and post-weld heat treatment, sand blasting, priming, painting to quality control and quality assurance. Our competent workforce operates modern CNC systems, automated welding equipment and a fleet of lifting equipment at high standards of safety, production efficiency and environmental sustainability.
We employ highly skilled welders and deploy automated equipment for maximised productivity and efficiency.
We cut materials to exacting precision requirements using state-of-the-art CAD/CAM applications.
We are equipped with sophisticated grinding machines to deliver surface finishes and accuracy within tolerance requirements and specifications.
We perform post weld heat treatment to reduce residual stresses and enhance material strength after welding.
We have the infrastructure to perform surface preparation and corrosion protection for fabricated metals and steel constructions according to project requirements.
We deploy various NDT techniques including radiography, thermal imaging and liquid penetrant testing as part of a comprehensive forensic engineering process to identify potential material failure.
